MEDICAL PLAN CAPTIVE AS A HEALTH CARE COST SAVINGS STRATEGY
The 2014 employer mandate provision in the Health Care Reform bill has many employers assessing whether they will continue offering employee health care benefits. Most are – which means gaining control of future health care plan costs is essential.
Join senior consultants from Trion, a Marsh and McLennan Agency company, to discuss implications of the 2014 “pay or play” decision and a creative new strategy for additional long-term health care cost control and savings – a stop-loss insurance captive owned by the participating employers self-funding their health care benefits. It’s an attractive option for like-minded employers, especially mid-size employers, who are actively managing their health care benefits program.
