Administrative Assistant

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The primary role of the Administrative Assistant II is to provide primary administrative support to the Division Leader for Benefits Administration including management of calendar and division correspondence as well as special projects; and general support to the Leadership Team including general administrative duties to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow within the organization. Prior experience in the healthcare or consulting industry experience preferred, but not required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Creation and development of all correspondence in support of the Practice Leader including presentations, RFP responses, client correspondence and general department communications.
- Calendar management including the support and coordination of all meetings and documentation of meeting notes.
- Expense and travel management support for Practice Leader and membership of Leadership Team as required including scheduling travel, providing directions, expense submission and verification of reports in accordance with Trion policy.
- Proofreading copy: spelling, grammar, layout and making appropriate edits. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy of all correspondence.
- Support of special projects and events including team activities, and off-site meetings.
- Oversight and management of on-site meetings including set-up, break-down and logistics including greetings, food and general accommodations for visitors.
- Responsible for handling all general correspondence including phone calls, mail, faxes and email.
- Serve as back up administrative support for other assistants.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years experience
- Executive support experience (including confidentiality) trust is essential for this individual.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and presentation in a client facing environment.
- Full proficiency with the MSOffice 2007 suite including PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Ability to multi-task with strict attention to detail.
- Ability to work within deadlines and adapt to changing needs.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and communicate effectively with all levels of Trion.

The work is performed in a normal office environment.
