Client service communications

The primary role of the Client Service Communications is to support the Communications Consultant and, ultimately, communications department in managing client projects. The ideal candidate will have some experience in communications—specifically in writing, editing, and project management. This position will also have some interaction with clients, as well as handle administrative functions and assist in developing presentations, spreadsheets, timelines, and project plans.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support Communication Consultant in servicing clients, responding to their inquiries, concerns, and requests
- Help develop and manage project plans and timelines
- Write and edit copy for client communications
- Develop and maintain processes for organizing and storing communications
- Help produce internal training materials and external proposals and presentations
- Help conduct research and provide administrative support and assistance in coordinating communication processes, agencies, resources, and third-party vendors
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A four-year Bachelor’s degree
- At least 3 to 5 years experience in communications or related field
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Proficient on computer and in Microsoft programs like Publisher, Project, and Office
- Health & Welfare Insurance Industry experience a plus
- Must be organized, detail oriented, able to define and solve problems, and manage timelines and project plans
- Proficient in basic administrative tasks and office functions
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage simultaneous projects in an entrepreneurial culture
- Some client service experience
- Self-starter and creative thinker
