Communication Consultant

Trion is seeking an experienced specialist in employee benefits and business employee communication who will:
- provide campaign strategy, project planning/management, writing, design and production management services to our large clients,
- develop standard communication pieces for middle market clients and for SPDs and other compliance communication materials, and
- work with the client account teams in building a profitable communication practice.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Work with client account teams in developing and implementing strategies to establish a communication practice and make account managers and producers aware of communication capabilities and opportunities
- Assist account managers in client milestone/planning meetings
- Assist producers in closing new business opportunities involving substantial communication campaigns
- Lead client discussion around communication strategy, project steps and implementation
- Complete at least the writing, employee focus group/survey/feedback, and project management parts of client communication campaigns
- Assist account managers in client communication around project progress, client satisfaction, etc.
- Manage necessary external design and production vendors to complete their project steps on time, on budget and meeting/exceeding quality standards
- Work with client account teams to prepare communication “templates” that client service consultants can use for basic communication services, especially for middle market clients
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Creative aptitude for design and layout of employer and employee communication pieces
- Significant experience leading, planning and delivering comprehensive communication campaigns that involve strategy, planning, writing, and project and vendor management
- Ability to strategize and manage delivery of employee communication through multiple medium, e.g., paper, web, video
- Experience in setting/meeting best-in-market quality standards and delivering campaigns on time and on budget
- Ability to work with multiple people, multiple projects and deadlines at same time
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work is typically performed in a normal office environment, either on site at Trion, or at various customer locations. Some travel is required.
