Directors and Officers account Executive

Trion, a premier Employee Benefit Consulting Firm, is launching a Property Casualty Brokerage operation. We are looking for world class insurance professionals to join this dynamic organization in key “ground floor“ positions.

This position provides advice and service to clients regarding all aspects of their executive liability exposures including Directors and Officers, Fiduciary, Employment Practices and Crime coverage’s. Assist producers with new business opportunities and handle all aspects of the exposures including program design and brokerage.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Perform exposure identification of the client’s risk
    • Brokering of all related coverage’s and look for new products and services
    • Team with producers on new opportunities and participate in client presentations including board meetings
    • Perform and manage Risk Assessment and Mitigation process for new and renewal clients
    • Creation of risk mitigation and risk transfer solutions
    • Brokering of risk transfer solutions
    • Team with producers on new opportunities and participate in client presentations
    • Responsible for client stewardship and coordination of all elements of the Trion value proposition
    • Work with producer to identify and manage issues and opportunities key to developing and maintaining client relationships
    • Work with producer to achieve and maintain income levels to achieve target profit margins
    • Responsible for client stewardship
    • Team leader
     

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10 years experience as an insurance broker
  • College education or equivalent work experience
  • Good oral/written communications skills
  • Licensed in property/casualty
  • Strong computer/automation skills
  • Experience in working both the Middle Market and Risk Management segments of commercial P/C clients
  • Strong risk assessment, risk mitigation, and broking skills
  • Strong coverage and program design skills
  • Skill and experience in working in a collaborative environment

  • CPCU/CIC
  • ARM
