Software Developer

Status: Full-time, Exempt

The primary role of Software Developer II is to participate in a team tasked with developing new, complex, enterprise applications and migrating existing core-applications to a Microsoft .NET environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Microsoft ASP.NET development in C# 2.0
• Microsoft .NET development in C# 2.0
• Analyze requirements and assist in the writing of programming specifications
• Help further object oriented programming and design methodologies
• Contribute feedback through code reviews
• Other duties as assigned
  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT related degree or equivalent years of related experience is preferred
• 3-5 years experience working in a Microsoft environment
• 3-5 years experience working in an ASP.NET environment
• Demonstrated  ability with Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, SQL server 2000 (2005 is a plus)
• Experience with any of the following is a plus: SOA design and implementation experience, ETL and BI/Reporting, MicroStrategy desired, NUnit and test driven development, SharePoint, BizTalk, JavaScript and/or AJAX, Classic ASP, Visual Basic 6
• Certifications are a plus
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Must be able to multi-task and function effectively in a fast paced, demanding atmosphere
