Sr. Business Analyst, Operations

As a member of the Operations Team, the Sr. Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for developing and implementing best practices within the Consulting Division of Trion. The primary objective is to enhance the effectiveness of the various account teams by developing and administering the tools and systems inherent to their role. Role will include assessing the existing infrastructure and practices alongside the consulting management team and proposing new solutions and ideas. The implementation of these solutions - identifying and documenting workflows, understanding data needs, assessing the tools and systems that optimally support client deliverables - is paramount to your success.

Experience in the benefits industry (preferably Health & Welfare) is strongly desired.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

Perform Business Process Analysis

    • Quickly assimilate the existing and future challenges of Trion’s account teams
    • Document and analyze required information and data
    • Facilitate business process analysis and workflow discussions
    • Identify and document deficiencies and recommend solutions
    • Continually assess existing infrastructure (people, process, systems, and data) for improvement areas

Implement Best Practices

    • Communicate proposed changes within operations team
    • Make logical recommendations, based on ROI and business impact, to management team
    • Assessing all aspects of change management, implement the proposed solutions achieving maximum utilization
    • Create measurement and reporting capabilities to assess progress

Enhance High-Performance Capabilities

    • Optimize Trion’s existing tools - CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and SharePoint (Knowledge Sharing) as the central repository of data, business workflows and reporting
    • Manage the utilization of these and other systems as productivity tools in support of the account teams
    • Leverage technology capabilities wherever process for business gain
    • Document, train, support and troubleshoot all CRM and support related inquires
    • Previous experience with MS suite of products

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience in business, preferably in operations
  • 5+ years demonstrated business analyst experience with complex projects in the benefits industry (preferably Health & Welfare), or other related experience
  • 2-4 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Proactive, creative problem solver with strong analytical skills
  • Experience in working collaboratively and building teams
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent follow through and detail orientation skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Experience in data manipulation
