TECHNICAL ANALYST 65-2011-TA

Status: Full-Time, Exempt

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

The Technical Analyst provides technical support to various internal and external client teams. Responsibilities include report generation, data transmission, file processing, testing, and assisting with client implementations, renewals and other technical projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited, to the following:  

  • Using Trion’s proprietary software and other computer applications, perform system setup, analysis and maintenance as required by client’s needs and project specifications; 
  • In collaboration with other client team members, perform data quality control functions;
  • Assist with development and maintenance of operational documentation;
  • Following the project plan, complete assigned technical tasks for client implementations, renewals and ongoing benefits administration;
  • Develop, generate and quality review standard and ad-hoc reports;
  • Create specifications for new programs or modifications to existing programs per client requirements;
  • Execute and quality review test plans;
  • Actively participate in meetings with clients, carriers and other internal departments;
  • Assist with technical projects such as system enhancements;
  • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Math or other related field or equivalent experience;
  •  2-3 years of experience in Technical or Benefits;
  • Client facing experience is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong organizational, analytical skills and strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving an decision making skills;
  • Solid interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work well independently and as a team member;
  • Ability to multitask and successfully operate in a fast-paced work environment;
  • Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines;
  • Ability to successfully execute tasks while adhering to Trion’s quality standards;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word (intermediate level), Excel (intermediate level) and Access (intermediate to advanced level);
  • Basic Knowledge of SQL is a plus;
  • Advanced computer user skills, including keyboard skills and electronic folder/file organization and management;
  • Aptitude for learning internal systems, applications and internal work flow of the department;
  • Must be able to effectively interact and deal with people at all levels inside and outside of the company.

WORK LOCATION AND HOURS

  • Work is typically performed either on site at Trion’ King of Prussia, PA office, or at various customer/Trion locations as required.
  • Must be able to work additional hours during peak periods.
