Technical Writer/Communication Specialist

Trion is seeking an experienced specialist in benefits with excellent writing and communication skills to support growing communication consulting practice.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Participate in communication strategy development based on client/project requirements
- Write text for enrollment guides, brochures, newsletters, SDPs and web communication
- Coordinate with outside design and production vendors from development through timely, on-budget delivery of print materials
- Coordinate with Trion account managers, customer service representatives and compliance department to ensure technical accuracy of all client communication material
- Help develop standard communication templates, where appropriate, for Trion outsourcing clients
- Assist with development of Trion publications and internal training materials as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical expertise in health and welfare benefits
- Excellent writing skills
- Ability to transform difficult technical information into clear, concise language in an organized format
- Ability to meet deadlines while working with multiple people and multiple projects
- Knowledge of print production process helpful
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work is typically performed in a normal office environment, either on site at Trion, or at various customer locations.
