BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Responsible for on-going planning, designing, development, evaluating, and implementing/facilitating courses to meet the short and long-term objectives of the Company training initiatives, with specific focus on Benefits Administration training. Assist in organizational development-focused initiatives, including company-wide/division specific needs assessments, and offer solutions to individual and/or organizational performance gaps by staying current in the Training field. Demonstrate excellent leadership skills by coaching, developing, and providing constructive feedback to participants within the training program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Lead training and coordination of new employee on-boarding programs to implement effective methods to educate and enhance performance- initial focus in Benefits Administration
- Direct and mentor instructional design and facilitation experts in meeting short and long-term training goals.
- Lead the needs assessment process to identify on-going training needs/gaps and implement training solutions to improve business performance
- Recommend and implement on-going strategies to meet divisional specific training objectives.
- Responsible for the management and delivery of Trion’s training program-specifically within the Benefits Administration division.Â
- Partner with the appropriate SME's to validate curriculum and develop training specific to their disciplines while ensuring best practices are being incorporated.
- Responsible for ensuring daily training tasks such as, creation of monthly training schedule, securing training venues, equipment, supplies and trainers, management of course enrollments, recording of all training activity, course evaluations and trainer feedback, are being carried out
- Review all training material content to confirm methodology, standards and best practices  Â
- Ensure materials are consistent with Trion’s standards and best practices.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a corporate training environment – strongly preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience leading a team, managing projects and deadlines, and delegating assignments required
- Minimum 1 year experience in Health & Welfare benefits administration strongly preferred. Must be able to effectively assimilate and present new information.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Proficient in needs assessment processes, training methodology, and evaluation
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) and computer-based training, ideal candidate will have virtual training experience.
- Experience utilizing training support tools (LMS, WebEx, etc).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service across all levels in the organization
- Ability to interact with all levels of staff.
- Disciplined in summarizing and reporting status/results regularly.
- Must be a self-starter, highly-motivated, and able to multi-task and prioritize.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

WORK LOCATION AND HOURS
- Work is typically performed either on site at Trion’s King of Prussia office, or at various Trion locations as required.
