WELLNESS CONSULTING DIRECTOR - 75-2011-cons

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

The Wellness Consulting Director will be the client facing subject matter expert, consulting to clients on strategy, design, funding, data analytics, implementation, administration and ongoing management of their comprehensive health management programs. Responsible for drafting and implementing Trion go-to-market wellness/health management consulting model, developing consulting resources and tools, and being the knowledge resource for the wellness/health management vendor marketplace.   This will require working closely with Trion Client Leaders and large client Account Management teams. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Manage consulting assignments with Trion clients
    • Develop tailored programs that fit clients’ unique wellness/health management needs, values, stage of change, and goals
    • Design and analyze program participation, engagement, clinical outcomes and client savings reports
    • Support clients with wellness program implementation, committee development, setting goals & objectives of their wellness committee and promoting and marketing their programs to encourage active participation.
    • Act as mentor for wellness committees
    • Educate and coach client employees and management on health, wellness and disease management issues
    • Oversee performance and value of client program vendors
  • Work closely with the Trion Sales and Account Management teams to provide subject matter expertise on wellness/health management programs in new and existing client selling opportunities, including developing client sales and education presentations
  • Train Trion producers and consulting staff on details of client wellness/health management program activities using a variety of media to include newsletter articles, e-mail notices, website, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
  • Deliver wellness presentations at industry and client market conferences, seminars
  • Manage client engagements and working relationship with all wellness program vendors, to include development and review of RFP process and negotiation of services

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree education; preference for health promotion/education or related health care/wellness and master’s degree
  • Minimum 10 years experience in employee wellness and/or population health management field
  • Experience running a successful corporate wellness/health management programs

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Effective presentation and written communication skills,
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and customer service skills
  • Capable of creating and delivering revenue-generating wellness/health management client products and services
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects; effective time management, prioritizing and organization skills in dealing with multiple audiences with varying interests
  • Ability to plan and accomplish strategic and tactical goals

WORK LOCATION AND HOURS:

  • Work is typically performed either on site at Trion’s office, or at various customer/Trion locations as required.
  • Must be able to work overtime during peak periods.
