Trion™ Acquires Wink Benefits & Communications, Solidifies position in Southeast Region

King of Prussia, PA — May 10, 2007 — Employee benefits consulting and outsourcing leader Trion™ has acquired Wink Benefits & Communications, a privately held insurance consulting company based in Greensboro, North Carolina. Founded in 1995 by Jay Wink III, Wink Benefits & Communications specializes in voluntary benefits. The office sold approximately $2 million in premiums last year.

"We're excited about expanding Trion's presence in the Carolinas and to be part of the Greensboro community," said Ed Garno III, a principal at Trion. Jay Wink will join Trion and remain in the Greensboro office, which Trion will utilize as a full-service location, adding to its seven existing offices nationwide.
