Trion™ Selects Rob Popolizio to Lead Benefits Administration Practice

King of Prussia, Pa. – February, 2008 – Employee benefits consulting and administration leader Trion announced that it has appointed Rob Popolizio to lead its benefits administration practice. 

Popolizio will oversee all facets of the practice’s management, including full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility; product direction; client management; staff management; and support integration of benefits administration services across all product lines.

Trion selected Popolizio for his role based on his extensive track record of benefits administration success.  Most recently, Popolizio worked with SHPS (Philadelphia & Minneapolis), a nationwide provider of health management tools, resources, and services, as senior vice president. During his tenure with SHPS, he held the roles of senior vice president of middle market and carrier operations and vice president of middle market operations. He also served Arbor Associates (later acquired by eBenX) as chief technology officer and as vice president of operations.

Popolizio holds a B.S. in management information systems from Central Connecticut State University and studied economics and finance in Trinity College’s masters program. He resides in Collegeville, Pa. with his wife and three children.
