King of Prussia, PA - March 2007 - Employee benefits consulting and outsourcing leader Trion™ recently appointed Marie J. Killian to direct its Integrated Health and Productivity Management practice. Killian, a licensed attorney, brings more than 20 years of experience to her senior management role where she will develop strategies and solutions for Trion clients in the areas of health, absence, disability and organizational productivity.
She joins Trion after 13 years at Aon Consulting Worldwide. Having reached the position of vice president, Killian advised Fortune 500 employers on subjects such as absence management, integrated disability and benefits management, workers compensation, strategic design for paid time-off programs, and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
Previously, Killian led the Workers Compensation Rehabilitation Department for Harleysville Insurance Company and served as Corporate Risk Manager for the Metropolitan Health System in Philadelphia. In addition, Killian taught courses on Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) business law for Penn State University and lectured on absence management and integrated disability at Risk and Insurance Management Society conferences.
Killian holds a juris doctor degree from Temple University Law School where she was an associate research editor of The Temple Law Review. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
